ProFuel TUNNELBLICK 2.1 comes in a 360 g container and is declared as a pre-workout booster. Available in lemon-lime and cola flavors. The powder is very hygroscopic; according to the manufacturer, the desiccant sachets must remain in the container and the product must be shaken vigorously daily. Ingredients

After the forced discontinuation of Tunnelblick 2.0 in September 2015 by the German authorities (the ingredient agmatine sulfate was classified as not marketable, even legal assistance did not lead to success), PROFUEL® immediately started developing a new formula and also informed colleagues in the supplement industry, as well as their own management, about the events. (on September 3, 2015)
However, they didn't just want to simply remove agmatine sulfate. With the new TUNNELBLICK 2.1 version, PROFUEL® goes one step further in terms of stimulants, adding even more to the previous 2.0 version with 200mg of caffeine and an additional 200mg of caffeine from guarana. The idea behind it: To compete with well-known US boosters, new paths must be taken in terms of stimulants. The idea here is 200mg of caffeine for a quick energy boost, and 200mg of caffeine for a longer-lasting boost for longer training sessions, which should nevertheless prevent a "caffeine crash."

CarnoSyn™ - the only patented beta-alanine for dietary foods

For beta-alanine, PROFUEL® Tunnelblick uses the only patented beta-alanine, CarnoSyn™. Beta-alanine is broken down into carnosine in the muscles, where it is needed as an acid buffer. After long and intense training, the available beta-alanine can be depleted. An additional intake of this amino acid can therefore replenish empty stores early and thus specifically prevent a deficiency.

The main energy sources in PROFUEL® Tunnelblick 2.1 are caffeine and tyrosine. While caffeine provides an energy boost, the amino acid L-tyrosine is the starting substance for the body's biosynthesis of catecholamines and thyroxine (thyroid hormone). This can lead to increased concentration. Here it is present as N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, which has never been available in such high quantities

Nach dem erzwungenen Aus der Version Tunnelblick 2.0 im September 2015 durch die deutschen Behörden (die Zutat Agmatin-Sulfat wurde als nicht verkehrsfähig eingestuft, auch die Hilfe von Rechtsbeistand hat zu keinem Erfolg geführt), hat man sich bei PROFUEL® sofort an die Entwicklung einer neuen Rezeptur gemacht, und auch Kollegen in der Supplementbranche von der eigenen Geschäftsleitung über die Geschehnisse informiert. Man wollte aber nicht nur einfach das Agmatin-Sulfat entfernen. Mit der neuen Version TUNNELBLICK 2.1 geht PROFUEL® noch einmal einen Schritt weiter in Sachen Stimulanzien, und setzt mit 200mg Koffein und auch 200mg Koffein aus Guarana auch auf die Vorgängerversion 2.0 noch einmal eine kleine Schippe drauf. Die Idee dahinter: Um mit bekannten US-Boostern mithalten zu können, muss man in Sachen Stimulanzien neue Wege gehen, hier ist die Idee, 200mg Koffein für einen schnellen Energieschub, 200mg Koffein für einen länger anhaltenden Boost für längere Trainingseinheiten, der einen "Koffein-Crash" trotzdem verhindern sollte.

Beim Beta-Alanin wird beim PROFUEL® Tunnelblick das einzig patentierte Beta-Alanin, CarnoSyn™ verwendet. Beta-Alanin wird in den Muskeln zu Carnosin abgebaut, welches dort als Säurepuffer benötigt wird. Es kann nach langem und intensiven Training das vorhandene Beta-Alanin aufgezehrt werden.
