Each drop contains 20 mcg of Vitamin K2 - we recommend taking 10 drops daily, providing a total of 200 mcg of Vitamin K2 to the body. The daily dose of 200 mcg of Vitamin K2 corresponds to 267% of the daily reference intake according to EU Regulation 1169/2011 and is therefore optimally high-dosed. We use K2VITAL® from Kappa Bioscience, a particularly high-quality Vitamin K2 raw material with an all-trans content of more than 99.7%. One bottle (50 ml) contains 1800 drops and is therefore sufficient for 180 days or applications of 10 drops each.
Vitamin K2 effect - role and function of Vitamin K2 in the body
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone), together with Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone), forms the group of fat-soluble K vitamins. Vitamin K1 and K2 each have different roles and functions in the body: Vitamin K1 helps the body activate important protein building blocks and thus contributes to normal blood clotting.
Vitamin K2, in turn, activates the so-called Matrix-GLA-Protein (also called MGP) and the peptide hormone osteocalcin. The Matrix-GLA-Protein binds calcium in the blood, thereby preventing calcium from being deposited in the vessel walls. Osteocalcin, in turn, helps the body ultimately store calcium in the bones.
Simply put: Vitamin K2 ensures that calcium absorbed from food is transported to the right places and incorporated there. In this way, Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Vitamin K2 Wirkung - Aufgabe und Funktion von Vitamin K2 im Körper
Das Vitamin K2 (Menachinon) bildet zusammen mit Vitamin K1 (Phyllochinon) die Gruppe der fettlöslichen K-Vitamine. Dabei haben Vitamin K1 und K2 jeweils unterschiedliche Aufgaben und Funktionen im Körper: Vitamin K1 hilft dem Körper dabei, wichtige Proteinbausteine zu aktivieren und trägt auf diese Weise zu einer normalen Blutgerinnung bei.
Das Vitamin K2 wiederum aktiviert das sogenannte Matrix-GLA-Protein (auch MGP genannt) und das Peptid-Hormon Osteocalzin.
