JUMBO was developed from whey protein. Dietary proteins are a source of nitrogen and essential amino acids that the body needs for growth and maintenance of body tissue*. Therefore, JUMBO contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.* Whey protein from milk is a so-called complete protein because it supplies the body with all the necessary amino acids, including the 9 amino acids (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine) which are vital and should be considered because the body cannot synthesize them.
The determination of the nutritional effectiveness of proteins in a diet is based in most cases on the assessment of the extent to which dietary protein nitrogen is absorbed and assimilated by the body and how it can compensate for daily estimated nitrogen loss. The Net Protein Utilization (NPU) is the percentage of ingested nitrogen that is retained by the body, the Biological Value (BV) indicates the percentage of absorbed nitrogen that is retained. Thus, the biological value is the result of the physiological utilization and digestibility. Whey protein has good digestibility and amino acid composition, making its biological value high – compared to other protein sources such as meat, fish, eggs and soy.
JUMBO is characterized by its "6-carbohydrate" blend, which includes oat flour, Palatinose™ and waxy maize. The "JUMBO" extra ingredient matrix provides a good portion of our proprietary "CREA-BOMB Multi-Component Creatine Matrix"! It has been scientifically proven that a daily dose of 3g of creatine already increases physical performance during high-intensity exercise within the framework of successive, short-term, intense physical activities such as weight training or cardio intervals*.
We have added additional amino acids beyond those derived from protein, including essential ones.
